So I thought I'd post. You always seemed to care, Until that one time. I thought you'd always Stay by my side. Until the darkness came, And blackened your mind, You're not the same anymore, You're not mine. Then my world seemed at an end, No one around to Help me up again. Until I saw you standing there, Without a care. I looked at your face, Saw your lies, Till I realized the red Between my eyes. Looking about I saw The gun in my hand, Where it lay poised near my head. My body dripping blood, I felt so helpless and unrest. I wanted to scream and shout, But now I'm mute. Now I'm alone. Since you didn't care To save my soul. |
