This is something I wrote this past month. It's basic of Neil and Danny's dance that they did on So You Think You Can Dance. Enjoy! There was a land Not to far away And not to long ago In which a King ruled There were two Princes Who obeyed their father In every way, but One day they would Not obey When fever stuck there Father dearly, and Within hours he was Dead The two princes Did not know who To obey They sat in their thrones Sitting and thinking The elder brother realized “To fight would win him the throne” The elder one Went up to the Younger one “Clap, Clap, Clap” His hand stung The younger one’s mind His hands twist the sword The dance had began The younger brother Raised his sword Ready to Strike The older one Drew back in Surprise And drew his own sword The younger one Moved his blade Along the side Of the other’s The elder brother Position is blade Ready to Strike The other did the same Starting the flight As their blades Struck the others They moved with speed That all that could Be heard was The crashing of blades Lifts and Leaps Seem to come from The two boys as They tried to strike Each other They moved with Force that the other Only had enough time To land and regain his Balance The fight would Soon be over For they both knew That they could Not win They both fell Realizing that they Could not win They settled back Down in their Thrones Glaring at the one that Remind empty For they both realized that they Could rule together |
