I'm cutting back,
I'm trimming down.
I'm losing weight,
Forgetting sound.
My pain will be lost,

I'll shed my tainted skin,
And move to monotonous town.
I'll hike up the rainbow trail,
And make my grey heart pound.
I'll tap the dance of anger,
And dry the soaked blue ground.
Like grass so loosely flowing,
Like twine so tightly wound.
You'll miss me when I'm gone,
But I won't be around.
