wow, i havent been on here in forever.....so this is more like prose/ranting, but i thought i'd post it and get an opinion anyway. lol tell me what you think!
The familiar bass line sliced through the air, its implementation still surprising me, despite the fact that I’d heard it a hundred times. The sweet, singing violins soon joined, taunting my every fault and shortcoming. That something could ring so true was still a mystery I’d yet to solve. With closed eyes, I found myself losing hold on the obvious, slipping into my world of truth. The individual cries of each string all melded together, forming one line of anguish, pushing forth, seeking answer. And then, conclusion. There was no gradual pull back, no diminuendo, no fade. Just a sudden end. Like life, it started soft, grew, hurt, lived, and in one single instant, was gone. I opened my eyes, a changed soul. Music always spoke to me, and I’d grown used to its fervor. But I don’t think I will ever fully be able to understand, nor become accustomed, to its perfection.
