I know people may complain about this, but I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
So if you saw the warning and read it anyway... please don't complain. Thanks.
Many people say,
I know what I believe,
As they stumble out of bed,
As their aching spirits grieve.
Other people say,
I know where I stand.
But even a blind man,
Knows he stands on the land.
I've heard some people say,
My faith is firm in me.
They say that there's no God,
And they're the soul authority.
"But I know WHOM I have believed,
And am persuaded, that He is able,
To keep that which I've commited,
Unto Him against that day."
My faith is not firm because of what I believe,
Because WHAT I believe is because of WHO I believe.
Jesus.

Nice. I like it. Simple and to the point. I love poetry like that.
P.S.I also like your banners, so very true.

*Claps* That was lovely.
Whenever I go on a youth trip or stuff like that, and sometimes even when I'm by myself worshipping, I can feel God's prescence. Lately, I can't feel Him there. I still read my Bible and worship regularly, but I just can't feel His prescence. But I'm not going to let that shake my faith. I'm going to still seek Him, even if I can't feel His prescence. Faith is tough like that sometimes.
/random rambling testimonial thingy
Anyways, it was a beautiful poem! Inspiring and to-the-point.

Both. They are both true.

Ah, thnx.
The first one is kind of my pastors fualt. He was talking about the 4 Gs of life. (God Grace... and some others...) lol but the first thing that popped into my head was God, guitars, guns and goats.
The second one is from the song "For the Beauty of the Earth"

Love the poem Jax. I can really identify with the emotion I see in it.

Most excellent. As Lor En Estel says, it's something I can readily identify with.

Thanks for the comment everyone, as always it's good to know you like my stuff.
More so, however, it's good to know so many people can identify with this poem, it being spiritual and all. It's encouraging to see.
