I wrote this about three or so years ago, and I just remembered it! It doesn't rhyme at all because I seem to horrible at writing those sort of poems.

It's more like a drabble, but in poem form. This is from Eowyn's point of view. I hope you like it!
The setting sun glows,
sending its fading rays to dance upon your face.
The faint wind playfully sends a cheerful gust
to caress your hair.
The golden sun silhouettes your outline as
you turn, your eyes dancing.
My heart stops as though I have been captured by some strange spell.
Maybe I have.
You take my hand in yours,
filling me with renewed hope.
But then I see that jewel, so harmless and beautiful
yet full of poison.
You smile at me, but I cannot allow myself to respond.
Not now.
Your heart is already taken.
I cannot afford to be broken by
dreams that will never
come into existence.
For that is all they are.
Dreams.
