Doubts
Is this really what you want, is this really what you need?
Are you sure of where you are going, and of what you want to be?
Cos life seems bloody tough, and it puts you on your knees
But it doesn't help to beg and it doesn't help to plead.
Sometimes you're so alone, and all you see is bleak
You wonder where to lay your head, and pause to think
There can be no light, amidst your hopeless dreams
You try to make it better, but no one listens when you speak.
But through the deepening dark, and in the gathering wind
Something rises up, and the future starts to clear
The weight upon your shoulders, is less heavy than it seemed
For you realise what you are doing, is the way things ought to be.
