Yeah. I'm going to be randomly posting poetry a lot. I love poetry~

Here goes.


I looked to the East, and the sky was grey,
Ash blew yonder;
I looked to the West, an lo! The bright of day!
A vast and bright wonder!

I looked to the North, and stood there aghast-
Light and Darkness fought-
I look to the South, and hi! Peace at last;
The two sides fought no more.

When thou dost wander the Eastern realms,
Keep watch on Western light
For there no shield, nor iron helm
can thrust Darkness from a fight


And woe to ye whose steps are not light
When the North they dost travel;
for their the storms writhe in plight
and reality's threads unravel.

I really like this. It has the feel, and wording, of something written in Tolkien's era(or even before his era).

That's a really cool poem! :) I agree with Raina... it does seem very Tolkien-esque. But still original. If that makes any sense... :teehee:
