I wrote this short poem as it came to me lying in bed last nite. I have not written a poen since being forced to in school 30+ years ago. So please comment & be brutaly honest. If its stupid or poor written please speak up. Thanks! Here it goes... If I were like Aragorn If I were like Aragorn I'd be filled with bravery and might But since I'm like Denethor I'm a coward filled with fright. If I were like Aragorn I'd fear no dark path But since I'm like Denethor I'm afraid of the enemies wrath. If I were like Aragorn I could sit on a throne for a king But since I'm like Denethor my seat is not worthy of a king. If I were like Aragorn I'd die in great honor from my peers But since I'm like Denethor I'll die lonely, the greatest of my fears. |
