I loved Turin, Beren and Luthien, and all the wars, they were really cool. I also liked the brief over view of the War of the Ring - although it is so much shorter that LotR it explains all the little bits that you miss in the original book.
And Aduial, does this mean i can have my book back now? I would like it back! Tis mine! MINE i tell you!

I love the Sil, too. Have any of you read the Book of Lost Tales 1 and 2? They tell about how he wrote it.

The Lost Tales seem to be a pretty good option for the people who consider the Silmarillion to be unbearably boring, I've noticed. Anyone here who read Unfinished Tales or Lays of Beleriand?

But I´m a proud owner of Morgoth´s Ring!
