No, not him either (I don't remember him being known as 'The Tall....'). It's actually from the Quenta Silmarillion, not from the Akallabeth or any of those other ones.

I feel stupid now. I reckon it is Finrod Felagund. Also Elendil was over seven feet tall lol. 8)

Oops, I meant to say I didn't know he was called 'the Faithful.' I knew he was tall, I just wrote the wrong thing down. Now I feel stupid, lol....^_^.

It's in there, keep looking. It's not Finrod. I'll give you a hint - it's not an elf.

Nope. This is a Silmarillion quiz, not LotR, so it's about anyone who's not in The Silmarillion.

Well I am stumped, Aerandir! My first thought was Finrod, but you said it's not him, Mardil, or the Elendili, so I searched the index and I still coudn't find another "The Faithful".

Well, since nobody can figure it out, I'll post the answer and ask an easier question.

It was Bor(s?) the Easterling, who fought for the sons of Feanor against Ulfast.

Who was it that invented the Runes?

It was Daeron who invented his runes, known as the Cirth but Feanor invented the Tengwar system of writing. Which do you mean? And why are you wrting such ambiguous questions Aerandir?????

Tengwar is not exactly Runes - Daeron invented the 'Runes'. So I meant Daeron's Runes.

The tengwar could be described as a runic system of writing lol. So it is my turn to ask,
Which Man if Barahirs men had a name which meant Victor or bane of?

Dagnir.

I wouldn't really consider the Tengwar as runes, regardless. They are considerably different than Daeron's Runes.

How are Elrond and Aragorn related?

I have already had more than my fair share of turns asking q's.
I will give up my turn to anyone else, except me and Aerandir lol.

Ooh, I'll take that chance!

Name the three characters who were called "The Tall". (I hope this one's not too easy...)
