 I'm incredibly jealous of you Haldir. *pouts* That sounds so awesome!
I love The Hobbit. It was thr first of Tolkien's books that I ever read, and consequently has a special place in my heart. It's a great story.
A CD of Tolkien reading it! that sounds cool.
By chance, do you know where your friend got it, and how much a thing like that costs? If you don't, ok, but if you do, I'm curious.
By the way, I love your avatar and banner. Looks like you had a lot of fun!

OMG! I've never seen anything like that here! And I go to bookstores at least once a week.. -__-

Tolkien reading parts of Hobbit.. mussst have the precioussss...it's oursss, and we wantsss it!!!
I've got the Hobbit 1997 illustrated edition and the 1999 paper back, and the tape by Michael White (I got it for $AUD7, originally $AUD59.95!!!!) .. but I've been wanting some audio of Tolkiens ever since I read Rings .. no matter what the material.. I'll probably have to try ordering it... though... my pool of money is starting to evaporate these days >.>

Looks amazing! I doubt I'll be able to get it though, since I already have The Hobbit and I want to have some money to buy the new Special Edition LoTR DVDs. It would be such an awesome thing to have though. Enjoy it! Though I doubt you need told that..........:P.

Wow, a Hobbit collectors edition. That's amazing. A friend who was moving away gave my family a LotR collectors edition with a case. http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-Collec ... F8&s=books

Oh wow Ivreniel. That's gorgeous. Probably one of the most beautiful LOTR editions I've ever seen. Lucky you, eh? :)
