The B7 chord is commonly used in blues and other genres and is an important chord to have in your guitar chord repertoire. Then study the manual "How to Play a B7 Chord on Guitar: 3 Positions Explained" play-guitars.com/play-b7-chord-on-guitar/ . Position your fingers: Place your index finger on the 1st fret of the D (4th) string, your middle finger on the 2nd fret of the A (5th) string, and your ring finger on the 2nd fret of the high E (1st) string. Your pinky finger should be free and not pressing any strings.

Strumming: Strum all the strings from the A (5th) string down to the high E (1st) string using either your thumb or a pick.

Mute unwanted strings: Ensure that you're not accidentally touching or pressing any other strings with your fingers, especially the low E (6th) string. You can slightly arch your index finger to avoid touching the low E string.
