Did u guys ever notice that they always put the orc names in the books, but they all use military vocab in the movie?
ex. Commander- movie
(orc's name)- book
So weird. Memo to future director of next LOTR series: put the orc's name in next time!!! It won't hurt ya!!!!

I'll admit I never really thought about that. Although in the film, I think they at least mention Gorbag's name once or twice. That's all I can think of right now.

I never really noticed that either. I actually don't recall anyone in the movies calling an Orc by it's name, considering most of the time they were talking about more than one Orc. =/

I do love 'Shagrat'. Picturing an Orc shagging a Rat.

If anyone sees this, know that there is an active Middle-earth forum still around from the old days. It is Tolkien Forums. Active with current discussions, and a library of old thread going back to 2001. I recommend registering there.

Also, there is some Middle Earth Roleplaying going on here:
