There are so many options now, it’s kind of hard to tell which ones are actually worth it. I just want something where I can test strategies, maybe learn some new ones, and not worry about losing actual money. Has anyone tried an app recently that’s good for that?

I’ve been in that same boat, man. After getting burned in live trades, I went on the hunt for a decent virtual trading app that wouldn’t just feel like a basic simulation. I ended up trying a couple from that list. Some have great charting tools and let you trade with near real conditions, which helped me build consistency without the stress. It really depends if you’re looking to focus on Forex specifically or broader assets, but it’s a good starting point to compare what's out there.

Oh this thread is actually pretty interesting. I’ve mostly just followed markets passively but always wondered how those trading apps actually work behind the scenes.
