Last weekend I pulled out my Humminbird fish finder before going on a trip, but realized I couldn’t remember how to reset some of the settings. The original paper manual is nowhere to be found, probably lost after moving houses. I’d rather not mess things up by guessing, since those menus can be confusing. Does anyone know where I can find proper guides for Humminbird equipment online, ideally in digital format? |

I ran into the same issue when I borrowed a buddy’s Humminbird a while back. Those devices are great, but the menus aren’t always intuitive if you’re not familiar with them. I ended up finding what I needed on https://manuals.online/humminbird — they’ve got downloadable manuals for different Humminbird models, old and new. It saved me a lot of frustration on the water because I could quickly look up how to calibrate and adjust the sonar properly. Definitely worth checking out. |

The other day I stumbled across a bunch of old instruction booklets in my garage, stuffed into a shoebox. It was a mix of random stuff — a microwave, an old stereo, even a lawnmower I don’t own anymore. Made me laugh thinking how I kept them for years “just in case.” Nowadays I’d never bother saving all that paper, it’s way simpler to grab the info online when you actually need it. |
