I'm guessing that we're now starting on Chapter 6 - but I can't be too sure because we might hold a discussion chat before we get into the sixth chapter. I'm really not sure.  _________________

Sorry folks about leaving this hanging. I'd arranged for one of the mods to take over for a few weeks, but it appears it was forgotten  So I'll post a couple week's worth catch-up reading, and start a "create-your-own" discussion thread. I should be back to run this sometime in September; right now I'm having to big-time re-adjust my RL schedule, which makes my internet life hard to figure out yet.
Anyway, one idea for the discussion after this week is for each active TRG member to take turns creating discussion questions every week. Another option is to continue in the create-your-own.
Also, keep on with the chats, even though I can't be there. Hold them every other weeks, and identify yourself in the chat my including "TRG member" or something like that next to your chat name. _________________ Starting October 13th: globe trotting from my kitchen. I received a PM from Ivreniel reminding me of this place - it wasn't that I forgot about it - of course I hadn't! It's just that I got caught up in school - and that's why I'm not appearing as often as I used to. My apologies.
I did stop coming to this thread mainly because 1) it was a little inactive; and 2) I don't have Java so I am not able to chat - so I wouldn't make a very useful member. But I'll do my best to continue coming here! And welcome to the group Lady Nienna Melwasuul!! It's good to have you with us!!! Right now, we should be around Chapters 5, 6, 7, or 8 - I'm a bit confused, but we should pick things back up once our members begin returning. Hello , I am new member. I have read The Hobbit once. I am not on Chapter 6 so I think I better get started!! I will try and participate in the discussions and try and answer some of the very thought provoking questions on various chapters. Well, that's it for now - Glad to join the group!
