Hobbit pictures!!!  Seeming them kind of reminds me of the old days when LOTR was coming out, and there were posters free with newspapers and articles about the movies and characters on the front of magazines everywhere *nostalgia moment* <3 It's so exciting =D

I have to say, every time I read that Martin Freeman is best known for Hitchhiker's Guide, I shout "SHERLOCK!" at my computer screen. Because, seriously?
EDIT: I just looked at the pictures again (huggles them) and realized they didn't mention either. Nonetheless, my point stands.

What Sherlock series was he known for? Was it a BBC series or was it the one they recently had on PBS where it was Sherlock in modern times? (which in my opinion Sherlock does not need to be texting! ok, very small rant over with) As far as I know I havent seen anything with Freeman in it, so he'll be new to me. _________________

^It's the same one. It's a three episode BBC series that PBS showed after it aired over in the UK.

Just saw these on facebook!! so exciting!!! I'm so glad that each dwarf is going to look like an individual (not like a series of bearded men with different coloured clothes/ Hair like in Snow White).
Can't Wait!

Ahh, they looks awesome! I love their beards to be honest, I mean, Glimli looked good with long beard but these three have something to them that looks just fantastic.

I just opened the forum for the sole purpose of posting this new photo! Way to beat me to it I'm excited about the new pictures, and (like others) happy that they're making a concerted effort to give each dwarf a distinct look (a dozen Gimli clones...not a good idea). My only concern is the one on the far left in the first photo (Nori?). It could just be the angle, but his hair looks like a triangle - you know, something Queen Amidala would have going on. Coruscant royal fashion != good idea for dwarves. _________________

I can actually picture what the "triangle" will look like, and if I'm not mistaken, I have seen people playing Celts/early Scottish settlers, maybe even vikings with that kind of hairstyle, so I think I can see where their inspiration has come from regarding that. My only problem is, if he is the only one with any hairstyle other than a mass of hair on top of his head, it might look too odd and more like a punk look.
