^Well that's exactly the issue, Christian... the companies couldn't care less about directors' interpretations. It's all about the money for them. What you just said is pretty much what all the fans are wishing. If the film companies actually thought that way (which they never would because their money is their priority), then the Hobbit would have been filmed a good two years ago.

I saw an article in Entertainment Weekly, I think it was, about the Hobbit, and that there's more of a chance PJ could end up directing it. I saw the magazine while I was at work, so I didn't have a chance to read the whole thing. *runs off**runs back in*

that article is very interesting. I mean, it still doesn't mean PJ is gonna direct the hobbit, but at least things don't seem to look as hopeless as I thought.
I really couldn't imagine any other director than PJ doing the Hobbit
