I shoot on a Canon and always use RAW to get the most detail in post. But recently I ran into a wall trying to preview CR3 files on my laptop without bulky software. Lightroom works, but it’s heavy and I needed something lighter just for previews and quick conversions. I started hunting for a free converter cr3 to jpg that wouldn’t butcher the quality or put annoying watermarks. Tried a few, and eventually found one that works directly in the browser – no installs, just drag and drop, and boom – clean JPGs. It’s helped me a ton when I just need a fast export or want to send samples to clients without touching the originals.
