Do you end up overpaying for something if the more expensive option is more convenient for you? Lately I’ve been thinking that sometimes I overpay if I get something faster, better, more reliable. And in those cases I’m even okay paying more than I could. In other cases, I can be super careful with every penny. Does that happen to you? |

I can’t think of a specific example off the top of my head, but I’m sure it happens. Like when I send letters by mail. You can pick standard or a bit more expensive registered mail that arrives faster. Sometimes that really matters. |

The easiest example is calling a taxi instead of taking public transport, or ordering groceries delivered instead of going to the store. Same with transfers. Even though I often send large sums abroad, and theoretically banks could be cheaper for me, I use KoronaPay https://koronapay.com/transfers/europe/en/landing/de-uz/, where timing is way faster, and the extra cost is small. And if your amounts are small, and in different currencies, the fee is fixed and actually a good deal. |
