Did anyone realize how long it took for them cuties to take their feet on??? It's really amazing, I mean in an interview on the EE Sean Astin said that there were so less scenes where you actually can see the feet, although it took so long to take them on! I just wanted to make a topic out of this out of respect for that

Hahahahah Really? LOL I heard that also their real feet suffer some kind of irritation because of the special glue they used.Poor guys! |

Yeah, when I saw how much everyone went through with getting those hobbit feet both on and off, I was so amazed. |

yeah. and i heard that the feet didn't last that long. i heard in an interview that the feet themselves only lasted like two days. correct me anyone if i'm wrong. |

I think it took them like 3 or 4 hours to get them on...wow I wouldnt have the patience... |

Legielover's right; not only did the actors have to wear them but the Weta Workshop had to make them! And they only lasted one or two uses to they must have made at the very least 5 pairs a day. Some poor person must have been so fed up with feet and wished they could do noses or something instead! |

"Why do hobbits need such big feet?!?!"Thats probaly what the actors were thinking.Angrod has a point about no sitting.PJ said himself that he wouldn't of played a hobbit. |

It's absolutely amazing how time-consuming and evil the feet were and yet what a subtle part they played. It wouldn't have been the same without them even though we don't get to see much of them anyway. I certainly pity the poor guys for having to sit through putting them on constantly, and I certainly wouldn't want the job of making the prosthetics, but you gotsta love the hobbit feetses! So I bow down to Weta and to my dear hobbits for letting the hobbit feet happen! Edit: Quote: PJ probably wouldn't need fake feet
Hahaha! So funny... because it's true. I remember that bit about PJ describing what the feet needed to look like by holding up his own

I'm very ticklish on my feet so if i had to do that, i would've given the makeup people who were putting them on a real hard time because i would've been jerking around and laughing so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems very hard to me, to get up at 5 o'clock in the morning, then you go to your trailer. You eat your breakfast and then you have to stand up, and keep standing on a box, so the WETA people can put your feet on. But I have also heard that Dominic and Elijah were used to listen music, so that made it a bit less hard... |
