The Return of the King is such an emotional story. The sorrow, the love, the characters, the horrors, the actors, the crew, the music, the visual arts, the drama, and the fans; the perfect recipe.

for me, it is the best movie i've seen! but i wouldn't say that it's the best movie of all time because well...it's all a matter of opinion! and i think one of the reasons it is so good, is that it's the climax and ending of the trilogy. it wouldn't be so popular if TTT and FotR didn't exist. in my opinion...the best filmed movie of all time!

i love this movie, more than the others, it's sooo lovely, and the effects are great, at the end it's soo emotional that i cry at the Frodo leaving for the Gray Havens bit, and when they are sitting on that rock outside Mt Doom scenes...

It's one of my favorite movies!

Honestly, it's my least favorite of the trilogy. I wouldn't call it the best movie ever, but it was good. I think I've said this about 50 times, but the end was a bit too cheesy for me...not the grey havens but the endings before that.

Just the fact that it's the closing of a three part series that about 50 years ago, would've been considered MAD to even think about making the books into a movie. That within itself deserves the title of the best movie of all time.

Return of the King touched me emotionally in a way that no other movie had, so yes, I think it is THE best movie of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They do marry haha don't you worry about that. And they have children. I loved this movie, but I don't think you can EVER put the lable "Best movie of ALL time" on one. There will always be more movies being made....how can you judge what you do not know? Great movie thought...definetly will be recognized for centuries to come.

The title fits as the best movie of all time, it also deserves it. But the only challenge for PJ, is for someone who is commited to working harder than him in a movie or 3! lol. It's STILL my #1 fav movie! Phantom of the opera is next though, lol.

When I saw the theatrical version, I was so excited I was about to jump out of my seat. Then I was crying by the end, even though I knew what was going to happen.
