alright, there are a couple glitches that I noticed from the movies.
One of the biggest ones is that near the beginning, when the camera is panning over Edoras and zooming into eowyn, all the smoke is going into the chimneys instead of out... kinda hard to catch but if you know what you are looking for you can see it.

I've noticed that when Gandalf blows the smoke-ship through Bilbo's smoke-ring, Bilbo and the rest are a picture or whatever - nothing except for Gandalf and the smoke move in that whole little piece as he blows it.

One of the funniest, is when aragorn, legolas and gimli meet eomer, when eomer is getting on his horse, his sword slips out his sheath.

My friend on another forum has loads of glitches, she told me that one too.

Oh, yeah, Jenny - I've always wondered about that. It was in UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!! I have no idea how they noticed it, and I have rewound and watched again time and time again, and never figured out how they could leave such an obvious slip-up in there.

One of the worst glitches in ROTK: For the people who have the EE of ROTK, you know that the scene in the Grey Havens is played three times. The first time went wrong because Sean Astin forgot to put his vest on after the lunch, and so the shots were wrong. The second time were all the scenes unsharp... And the third time went okay.

but when I was watching ROTK a week ago, I saw Sean Astin with his yellow vest and underneath that vest a white thing. After he hugs Frodo or something, he DOESN'T WEAR HIS VEST ANYMORE!!!!! And than, when he arrives at Hobbiton, he is wearing it again!! So that shocked me a little, because they shooted that scene over for the vest, and now it still isn't in it...

well i spotted a couple of things:
in fotr when merry/pippin set of the firework they are surrounded by tables etc. BUT when the tent flies my and they get thrown back there's nothing there!

and in ttt when frodo/sam are with faramir and leaning against those barrels the barrels vanish half-way through the scene! i have another in ttt but i don't have time to explain it at the minute so i'll tell you about it later

In RotK when Eomer is charging into battle someone hands him a pike. He does not start out with it in his hand. That scene always makes me giggle because I do not know where that pike came from?

But in TTT when Arwen is imagining Aragron's death, if you watch reaaaaalllly closly, when she is standing over his body, you cabn see Viggo move his finger.

Missing Charlie already!

That was originally going to be used as Eowyn watching soldiers leave in the Two Towers. The camera was panning out. However, they decided to use it when they're coming back to Edoras, so they thought it should pan in.


Another is when the Rohirrim arrive at Minas Tirith. Minas Tirith is facing East (Mordor) and the Rohirrim are coming from the left of Minas Tirith. That means that they are coming from the North. Yet the sun is rising behind them as they charge!
