Thanks for the input, JF, and for volunteering to put up a thread about the Yule Ball. Looks like 28 Dec - 3 Jan it is then. When would we like to send out the first announcement via forum-wide email?

Oh... mmm... I'll be gone for most of the reunion... I leave for New years on Dec. 30... oh well, then you'll have to promise me to ehh... telle me everything that happened.. you know who came back and how many are married and have kids, you know.

And like Ali said, I used to be a tagger too, so I might be able to summon some old, very old member that way...

Aww, I'm sorry you won't be able to attend, Eä. Perhaps you will be able to help by summoning some members back for us then.

Just a quick update since I've let this alone for a while... Any chance we could get some advertisement going for this? Perhaps we can put both Yule Ball adverts and a little blurb about the Reunion in our sigs? That'd be ace.

I'd also like to begin amassing some amassing some ways to contact people outside of the forum-wide email, sort of like what we were planning last time.

And when do you think that forum-wide email should go out? The first one this weekend? I'll need to know soon so I can give Kit prior warning.

I'll start on reunion advertisements, though I've been away for the past week and haven't been paying much attention to the yule ball planning[shame on me, I know]. I'm guessing people have already made little banners for that? Yes?

The shameless advertising banners for the reunion won't be too big or flashy so people can fit both in their sigs if they feel so inclined. I'll try to make them wintery-looking.


The mass email should probably go out soon. This weekend would be great, but if Kit[or the other mods] doesn't have time, we can also do it sometime next week. If you need any help from me with that, Lar, I'd be happy to lend a hand.

Indeed, JF has definitely been on top of things with her advertising. We don't need too many banners or anything, just a few will do the trick.
