No, pop isn't a Washington thing, I don't think. Not in Western Washington, anyway. We drink soda.

Pop huh? Here in Massachusetts it's called coke. Yes, coke, it's a Masschusetts thing only. We have own words for certain things. But at times, it's called soda.

Haha, you call it coke even when it's not of the coke brand? That's funny.

I'm from Montana and I like to say Soda, one of my friends says that it's a total "Canadian thing" to say Soda....but I completely disagree....He's from Pennsylvania and he says "Pop", because that's the sound it makes when you open a soda can. I don't know...hmmm....interesting...I've always wondered about the whole "pop" vs. "soda" thing....hmmm....

Phh, that's not a Canadian thing. Not all of them say soda, either.

uhm... we call it coke in Alabama too. And Florida. And Georgia. And Tennessee. And most of Mississippi. Its a coke, regardless of what brand it is.
Anyway... does anyone else here drink sweet tea or sun tea? I've heard that both are more of a southern tradition

I drink tea, but I've never had either sweet or sun tea. But they sound very yummy.
We have a Whitey's ice cream shop out here in the Midwest. It is the most hilarious thing to say "I'm going to Whitey's" to someone who's not from around here. They FREAK OUT. PC, you know?

Sun tea is delicious!
For those of you who don't know what it is, its where you take a jar and fill it with water, put a tea bag in it, screw on the lid, and leave it outside in the sun to seep and brew. Its the best stuff ever! You wouldn't think it, but it makes the tea uber great!
You've never had sweet tea, Ellethwen? Wow! You should try it!

Mmm, not a big fan of tea, actually.
Unless we're talking about bubble tea.

No, it is his name. It means 'Blessed Son.'
