State of Play
Definitely liked the Brit one better, and not just because of John Simm (though that certainly was nice).

How can Mr. Depp NOT be pretty? XD
"The Interpreter"
Any movie dealing with the UN turns me into a giddy nerd.
"The Mists Of Avalon"
Apparently we own the movie. I prefer the book though. In a big way. XD Loreena McKennitt FTW.
"Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End"
I was in a pirating mood. WIIIIIIIIIIIIN. ARRRR!

Please, go watch the movie and then we will talk again.
(By the way, he wasn't a pretty boy in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas either)

Watched Kings Go Forth last night. Based on the book of the same name (but also released under the title 'Combat Mission'), the movie was released in 1958 with Frank Sinatra, Tony Curtis, and Natalie Wood the main cast. It is a love story embedded in a war film, and it approached the issue of race in America at a time when that was a major sticking point in much of the country. The only unfortunate thing about the movie vs the book is they had to happy-Hollywood the screenplay. It had most all the right book-bits in the movie, but some slight re-arranging with a major change of the ending made the whole story different. The book ends darkly, the movie does not. Still, a great watch this, and I would like to see this one re-made with the dark ending. I could see Johnny Depp as Lt Loggins, Matt Damon as Sgt Harris, and Kristin Kreuk as Monique.

Well I might have to go watch it then and see what you speak of. Because I don't believe the man can't always be gorgeous. XD
"The Dark Knight"
Enough said.

Dorian Gray. HURRAH! Ben Barnes was superb. It was different than what I had thought it would be, but it was still excellent.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
It was SO good. For it being Helena Bonham Carter's first time singing in a movie, she was really excellent! I would have thought she does it all the time.
