I love it too to know that hundreds of other LotR fans are watching it at the same time as well... It's a strange bonding experience in a way, at least I think so...

I'll be watching it tomorrow! All day I hope xD

Argh LotR films on TV Unfair D:

Yay IB Pan :D:D

I started Watching Law abiding Citizen, then couldn't be bothered because it just seemed really rubbish

Meet Joe Black- pretty good, really didn't help my "I will not not NOT find brad pitt attractive" campaign though D:

We get LOTR once a year in the UK as far as I know, in about November.

Going to watch TTT later this month at the Albert Hall in London, so I don't mind that it's not on TV. :D

Good - Watched it for the Viggo Mortensen factor, and he definately didn't disappoint. very thought provoking :(

Oh! Viggo is an amazing actor! I'm sure that his acting could never disappoint. :P How was the rest of the movie?

I'm so slow xD

The Movie was really great, but quite sad and he was so so so so good, possibly my favourite of his films acting standards-wise. Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) was really great in it too and Mark Strong was his usual bad guy self X)

My Most Recent films

PotC - Curse of the Black Pearl
PotC - Dead Man's Chest } I don't need to comment on these they speak for themselves really xD
S Club Seeing Double - ..... rubbish.... spectacularly Rubbish- but the songs were sweet for the nostaligia ness
Potc - At Worlds End - As before with the pirates films... but a special comment for Mr [s]Sexy[/s] Bloom

Mini PotC marathon over 2 days :)

@Lembas - yay for PotC marathons! I can hardly wait for OST to come out; I can't wait to see what they do with it and whether I'll like it or not [with the former being the most likely :pirate: ]

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Yes, I know I watch this every few weeks, but it's my favorite movie ever! I just can't seem to get tired of it; not sure why though. Just an all around epic film I guess. <3

About 2/3 of Die Hard With A Vengeance... not my kind of movie... but then again, I'm not a guy! Truth is I endured it for so long because of Jeremy Irons but I was very displeased with his fake German accent. :P

@ Ara YEAH PotC marathon!!! I'd never actually done one before and I was feeling a bit rubbish so I spent most of the day in bed watching 1 & 2 then watched 3 the next day. I'm a bad fan because I hadn't watched Black Pearl in Ages, becuase I had it on VHS with no working video player. So I finally bought the Dvd. I think I like the first one best, but then AWE is so amazing in places, its just Elizabeth that ruins it- lol I can't decide, becuase DMC is also amazing, just kinda slapstick lol... indecisive much. I'm unsure about OST, I'm gonna miss Will and Norrington so much, I really hope they don't make it into 2 hours of the weird Jack Locker scene, which I'm worried it might become lick if its Jack centric....

Kill Bill Vol1
Kill Bill Vol2 } they really don't stand alone as films (2 was better than 1 though :) ), but as a whole they are pretty awesome, I love Mr Tarantino. The music was amazing, Uma was epic too, but I couldn't help thinking Inglourious Basterds was much better...

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - LOL Robert Pattinson- I generally don't like the HP films, GoF is probably 2nd best for me, but its just so unintentionally funny and HP's grasp of continutiy is rubbish

Back @ Lembas ~ I do like the first one a lot - I think it's the most true to the pirate spirit... AKA more basic pirate adventure; pillaging, plundering... DMC & AWE were a little more out there in terms of believability... I mean honestly, a man with tentacles for a beard? At least the cursed skeletons were a little more realistic. But neither of those ideas have stopped me from loving DMC like I do - I think it's the best one because no one dies, it's jam-packed w/ adventure and just really silly moments... The waterwheel scene is my favorite, with Jack/Norrington/Will swordfighting for the key. <3 And Ha ha, Elizabeth does ruin everything - although I liked her in the first movie because she seemed more down to earth and knew her place; she was never meant to turn pirate - she should've stayed a proper lady and then it would've been okay with me. But Ted & Terry (the writers) had to go and turn her into a Mary-Sue and make her kiss everyone and seem totally helpless and incapable of fighting. Oh yeah, "Will taught me how to handle a sword" my BUTT! She couldn't fight for crud in my opinion. :annoyed2: I'm really glad they got rid of her for OST, because I don't think I could handle more Elizabeth scenes... it's a shame that Will is gone, but I guess in retrospect, his story has ended and can go no further... :( Still, Blackbeard vs. Jack sounds very exciting, and I'm still really wary about Penelope Cruz - depending on her performance will help me decide on if I want to see more of her films or not. I just hope Ted & Terry don't destroy her character as well - all of their females end up horrible... with the exception of Tia Dalma and Anamaria. I really think they could use a female writer on the writing team. I've got no worries about the Locker scene again, but I guess too much Jack isn't always a good thing; just the right amount and then give the other characters a chance to shine. So, I guess we'll just have to try and contain ourselves until the movie is released next May, although I'm finding it difficult to wait an entire year. :pirate:

Now that I've rambled, the last thing I watched was some random pirate film from 1961 or something - I totally forget the title of it though.
