I wouldn’t usurp him myself – he’s one of my heroes – but I thought it was a funny idea if someone tried to take his place in all the things he does in LOTR, and getting everything dreadfully wrong

I would definitely "borrow" Shadowfax! But not for too long, and I'd take him back to Gandalf - otherwise I fear I'd be in awful trouble
