Colour Gimli's hair neon purple. It's a lot easier outflying (or outrunning) a dwarf vs. an angry Elf's arrow. Besides, Leggy needs his hair. If it was dying his hair on the other hand... *evil moronic giggle*
Steal Legolas' mirror and say Frodo accidentally dropped it in Mount Doom, or set off fireworks with Merry and Pippin?

Oh, pleasant XD. Make Elrond wear pink robes--can you just imagine that? With Legolas's hair curling would probably come out, but Elrond in robes would last the whole day long...as long as you barricaded his door.
Get drunk in the Green Dragon and sing a song on the tables or walk up to the Black Gate and yell until you got Sauron's attention and then run for it?
