You may have already noticed, but a number of games here in this section have suddenly disappeared. I know, this stinks, but it was deemed necessary by the mod team because of the repetitive nature of some of them. We had games that were doing the exact same thing, and we don't like repeat topics, plus, people were using these multiple easy-to-post games to up their post count.

Please, in the future, make sure that your game is UNIQUE! And also, try to come up with ones that require a little bit more thought and effort. We don't want a bunch of Custom Rankers floating around who got their ranks merely from playing games, do we?

Oh right ... I was going to suggest moving them to Misc. Randomness but I guess deleting them is just as effective

Whenever I come into the Misc. LotR I get a bit overwhelmed by all the game threads. They make up about half the threads on the first half of the page. And although I do enjoy the games, it also sort of feels like being in the Misc. Randomness forum.. I think it's a pity that a lot of the more discussion/sharing cool stuff oriented threads get pushed so far down, and I wonder if I'm the only one? I mean I rarely go into this part of the forum because it feels.. very random and .. it has a feeling of one-word-posts-in-a-game-thread, when it actually can be so much more.

So Arsa has a point.. and even though she posted this back in 2006 I think it's still a valid point. But I'm curious to hear you guys' opinions.

I know... My plan for tidying up the board would be to move some of the threads to Misc. Randomness. So unless everyone objects wildly, I'll go into evil moderator mode and move things around according to this plan.

Move to Misc. Randomness:
- Three word game (at least one of the threads)
- Double letter game (basically it's just an on-game)
- Elf problem game (because it's not very LotR-ish)

Keeping in Misc. LotR:
- Acronym game
- This or that game
- Would you ever?
- LotR Pyramid


By the way, don't feel that you've done anything wrong by posting in these threads. I've played a lot of the games too and had lots of fun but the fact is that they're beginning to take up too much room from the non-game threads so I believe it's time for some action. I mean 10 out of 20 topics on page one are game threads... that's quite a lot.

I have just started another game called 'Defeat Me' Its quite fun, my freinds and I play it all the time and it often requires alot of thought. I'v put the rules so that it HAS to be about M.E and as far as I know its orgional.
