@ Haha! Have fun! Aradan stood stock still and stared. Rhavaniel's face remained emotionless as she helped the young woman back onto the table. "Please rest, mylady," she said softly. The human slammed his fist against the wall "Business? Business? I spent nearly thirty years trapped here! Beaten! Flogged! Cowering broken! I came back to help to abolish this dreadful trade! The elves, angelic, I know- They are the worst of all. They assisted in giving me my freedom, now they are at fault for me losing it. I am trapped in he clasp of my master, whom I tricked into allowing me to go free. May the Dark Lord take them all! " The elf stood sharply "You are under no obligations to me." "I am under every obligation to you, mylady. And you oblige yourself to her, and so I am trapped."

She was even more angry now. "My master is not interested in either of you, you are free to go!" she got up and faced him "You you wish to lead them out, there is a break in the fence that surrounds the perimeter of the castle. Deliver the slaves that wish to go, if you want." she unlocked the door and walked out, closin it behind her before walking to her blanket by the castle wall. She sat down and looked into the night sky.

(ok back ) Crixus lay her back down and began to finished tending her wounds, not speaking. After he finished he moved away from her, with a bowed head, as if apologizing if he overstepped his mark. ''What are we to do?'' he asked, aiming the question at no one in particular.

"They can deliver the slaves, should they so wish. Abrax is most likely drunk, he will not know." Eonwe was restless. She didn't like it. At all. "The slaves that want to go can." she winced then as she moved, her anger dissipated.

As she spoke he sat down. A life away from this. Away from the arena. What would it be like? He could not imagine himself not training and not answering to Abrax or anyone else. Crixus merely sat, mute, with his own thoughts, avoiding everyone else's gaze.

She got up and yanked the door open, stepping out and ignoring the pain. She walked to her blanket against the outside of the castle wall. Only the slaves that wanted to go would. Some, she knew, would not. She wouldn't. She had too much to risk in leaving. Her eyes went to the sky, watching the twinkling stars.

Crixus's eyes followed Eonwe as she left. No doubt she was facing the same dilemma. He dithered between following her or not, perhaps he was doing too much. Deciding to do the former he followed her, sitting down beside her. ''Will you leave? You should not stay and be treated so.''

"I shall stay. I risk too much leaving." her eyes leftbthe sky to look at him next to her "What of you?" she whispered. She was truly thankful for his kindness to her, even though he had no obligation to her he had still helped her. She would never be able to thank him enough. The two inside were most likely arguing still. She knew several slaves who wished to be delivered to their promised land, to their freedom, so they would not have come for nothing.

Crixus could not think of a logical answer. He attempted to phrase his thoughts as best he could. '' This life, it's all I know. But I no longer feel obligated to his house. I understand that I am only treated somewhat better than others because I am champion. Yet when I fall from that position I will no doubt be treated as badly as you are.'' All the while he spoke he looked off into the distance as if envisioning himself away from the house. ''What of your wounds?''

She turned her gaze away from him. "Oh, I'm not treated so badly. There are others that have it far worse.." she paused, her wounds hurt like the dickens, but she would not complain. "Ny wounds are as to be expected." she chose her words carefully. She wondered what he would do. "You could still fight if you were free."

''What would be the purpose? If I wished to fight I could stay, yet I could not leave and still fight in the games as I have done. I would be forced back here.'' At the mention of her treatment he looked at her, an odd emotion on his face. ''You are a princess. You should be treated as such. Not hiding from your very own brother''

"You could be paid to fight." she looked down. "I am a princess by birth, yes, but I have been humbled." she looked at the sky. "I do not need anything different. At least here I have food." she thought of Eoman, and her heart saddened "Eoman has been taken over by the lust for riches and power and a jealousy that causes him to want to be rid of any and all competition he may have for the throne. I have no business with him. I would wish only to live in peace as a slave rather than fighting for something that can be stolen from me in an instant. As royalty there is much to lose. As a slave there is nothing." she fell silent, pondering her own words. She knew they were true.

''There is everything to gain. Your life, free will to do as you please.'' He looked at her, as if considering her. He had helped her on some occasions and he knew that it was inevitable that one day he would fall from his master's grace. He decided to make her an offer. ''If you would ask it of me I would help you. I would see you safely back to your home'' he did not look at her as he spoke, and was surprised at his tone. It was somewhat softer than usual, shocking even himself. He knew he wanted to help her.

"I would not ask you to leave the ring, if that is all you have known." she laid her hand tentatively on his shoulder "I would not know what to do with myself in a palace." she laughed, then hissed and winced as it moved her back. "You are and honorable man." her hand slid from his shoulder and she hugged herself against the cold breeze.

''You need not ask, I offer.'' He shied away slightly as her hand went to his shoulder, he did not know what to do with himself. Noticing how she was shivering slightly he looked and saw she had nothing but her ripped clothes and small blanket for warmth. He took off his cloak and held it out to her, before standing up. ''I will return to my quarters. Your company would be welcomed'' His small room was a little away from the main castle and it was clear that his master was now too intoxicated to even remember his own name.

She stared at the cloak and took it slowly. "I...I...thank you..." she stood and wrapped the cloak around her, and followed him silently. She remembered how he had shied away from her when she had put her hand on his shoulder, and made a mental note to be more careful. He obviously didn't like being touched.
