Well considering Morgana's new place is in the north, it would be a bit weird if there wasn't snow, don't you think?
And it was kind of strange without ever snowing, in my opinion. :P

Yeah, that's right, I can get iPlayer now. Y'all jealous. :P

So can everyone with Firefox. I've been using it since the beginning of Doctor Who this season. Behind the curve, Skitty! Gotta catch up! :teehee:

And nah, there wasn't really any explanation for ravens or wolves. Just mainly because they're "evil" creatures and they decided to have them? The snow was new, and a nice change. Because we had hardly any snow ever.

 The old "I watch it for the plot" saying has never been more true than for this show. Honestly. There are plot points that can be good, but if you say you're not drawn in by the pretty that is Arthur/Merlin/Mordred/Leon/Percival/Gwaine/Lancelot/Elyan you're probably lying to yourself. :teehee:

I couldn't agree with you more Nur! :P All the prettiness in the show makes me want to see every episode! :teehee:

Somehow Gwaine sees to end up shirtless a lot in the recent episode.. But you don't hear me complaining.. :innocent:

And is there anyone else, who does not trust Mordred?

I'll stop rambling now..

I certainly wouldn't say I trust Mordred, but when has being a baddie really stopped me from liking a character? :P I have a lot of theories about him, and I see a lot of potential in his character. I hope the writers go that route, regardless of him ending up good or bad, so that he's a fully developed character. I just....I have a lot of Mordred feelings at the moment. :teehee: I'll spare you all of them.

I actually do kinda trust Mordred... not in the first ep, but the only reason not to trust him is Merlin's vision and the old dragon... ok so that's not exactly a tiny reason but still... :teehee:
He doesn't seem evil at all in the 2nd episode! I'm a little bit mad at Merlin for not liking him. -.-
He totally does not seem like he wants to kill Arthur.
hehe... I know, it's weird. :P he's probably going to turn evil and totally ruin my opinion of him.

Spoilers lurking ahead...

I enjoyed this episode. And the best part was totally when Merlin revealed his magic to Uther. You could see how much he was dying to do it and how he just had this "AT LAST" type of expression. It was brilliant.

It was a bit weird that the 3rd episode was all horror-ish...
we went to a haunted house, watched a freaky movie... then go to check out the new Merlin episode and Camelot is haunted. lol! :P
Uther is sooo creepy! ah! I like him more as... well... not a ghost

What happened to Mordred???
O.o
He was there in the first two episodes... then he just disappeared. :annoyed2:

Ugh, writers, Merlin......There are so many routes to take with this story. But I feel like the writers are just like, "We know Arthur has to die in this way, so we'll make everything happen just like that." THERE WAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL. This episode basically just made me really hate Merlin, who has been my favorite character through all the seasons.

OK, I just discovered Merlin this week, so I'm a newbie fan. But I do have one question... If Merlin's mother wanted to protect him, why would she send him into the heart of the kingdom with the king who hates magic and wants to destroy anyone who is magical? Just wondering if anyone else had thought about this little conundrum...

But otherwise I love love love the series even though I'm only 4 episodes in. It's really different from the original legends (since when was Merlin a manservant?!), but they do such a great job at storytelling that I don't mind the aberrations too much. The relationship between Arthur and Merlin is probably my favorite part of the series. "I knew you were a prat, I just didn't know you were a royal one!"

Cause if she kept him with her the show wouldn't have much bad stuff happening. Maybe she didn't know Uther hated magic so much... also she wanted Gaius to teach him... and... stuff. :teehee:

haha yeah Merlin and Arthur are so funny... XD

Haha, yeah, sometimes plot points just happen because they're necessary for the story, and not from any logical standpoint.... :teehee: Glad you're getting into it though! It's a really enjoyable show (don't mind me when I grumble, I just like to do that) and the actors do a really good job.

Oh gosh that's creepy! O.o
When I was watching the last episode, Gwen was annoying me so much with all her "oh arthur don't go you'll die" stuff... and I thought "I wish you would die.. no wait. you can't die. the writers would never do that. hmm.. you should get kidnapped! mwahaha!"
And then... Gwen gets kidnapped. O.O so weird.....

AHHHHH SNAKES!!!! *hides from freaky snakes*
(I'm not really kidding that much.. I'm so scared of snakes I couldn't look at the screen while the snakes were on. *dies* it's just sad...)

*this is kinda spoilery if you haven't seen the ep yet*

Anywho.... Gwen is so stupid. Stupid stupid STUPID!
She chose to stay in the creepy room with the creepy screaming people instead of going with Morgana. She could have gotten relief from the creepyness and ate something. But no, she has to be all "I want nothing from you blah blah blah!"
She could have pretended to go along with it... just to get out... and make Morgana think she's on her side, then have a better chance of escaping. Weirdo.

*sigh* it's so predictable too... I knew it was going to be Elyan who didn't come back just as soon as Mab said one of them wouldn't come back. -.-

I want to know why Mordred keeps disappearing!! Seriously? It's like he just vanishes and then re-appears any time the writers want Merlin to try and get him killed. -.-

(the last episode with Mordred made me really hate Merlin. Evil Merlin. -.- Not exactly a smart move,in my opinion, to make people hate the main character.)

I think BBC's Merlin is the best telling of the story because looking back at the past and current Camelot; all are dark and bloody but Merlin is so sweet and enjoyable.

I liked Gwen more before she became queen. I can't trust Mordred, I know too much of the original myth for that.
