Probably not. I mean, I can say "wow that would be awesome", but I mean, in reality (erm, well, you know what I mean) that battle = war, and I a) don't have any idea how to handle a sword, or a bow, or an axe and would probably end up killing people on my own team and b) I really don't want to die. Or see people die. Or kill people. Or orcs, or whatever. So no, and I doubt anyone on this forum would in reality want to be there, when you break down what it'd really mean.
Would you ever volonteer to be in the fellowship if you'd happened to be in Rivendell at the right time?
