Oh yes, a Hugh Jackman archive of all my photos and articles would certainly put that stuff to good use! Doesnt sound like I'm up at Bella's level, but my folder is quite full! I'm actually kind of surprised by how many Colin pictures I have, and I keep looking up more routinely. I'm a disturbed person But my computer's wallpaper is never boring! On another note, have watched back to back episodes of Once Upon A Time today. Yep. Still very much obsessed with that show.

I am so obsessed with a game I bought yesterday. L.A. Noire. I'm already most of the way through the game. It's like GTA mixed with a game like Hotel Dusk. Of course I have done zero writing. Well, I was getting a little writer's block anyway.
At first, I wasn't sure about it. I read the blurb info, and thought if it sucked it'd be a break from GTA for a while. But for £17.99 can't argue. Now I've played it, that is a total bargain.

I don't know, I turn into an obsessive mess. But I've got a reason for it. It's tied in with my Asperger's Syndrome. For me, movies, TV, books, etc, become my Aspie obsession. Which means it's ALL I care about, and I care about it on a weird level. I'll memorize a lot of strange facts, and it's all on my diagnose. Like back in the day, when I was 14-15, I could recite maybe 20-30 long paragraphs of facts about the LotR trilogy (and when I say recite I mean it literally, I still know the same amount of stuff these days but back then I could by heart literally quote magazine articles, or book pages, etc, word by word for paragraphs on end). Things like what actor got what role why, how many people they needed to create x, on what day they filmed scene x, how scene x was changed from this to that, what actor x's first thought was on the lines y and z etc. Like, obscure stuff that no one cares about, but I learned all of it. Because that's just how I do it. And I'm still that way, but now it's less focused on one thing more than in shorter periods of time. Like I'll have a month where I'm obsessed with Skyrim and I'll play it ALL the time. I'll have a month where I'm into Pirates of the Caribbean and I'll watch the movies and read fanfics or write fanfics etc. I still look up a lot of facts on the things I'm currently into, but not to the same extent as before. Which is good, because all that information was quite unnecessary to have and the time could have been better spent on say actual school work...
My longest loves are Lord of the Rings and Johnny Depp though. Fell in love with both around the age of 7-8, which means it's been like 17-18 years now of loveeee all around. LotR I got more deeply into when they came out at the cinema, which is still over 10 years ago. Cray-cray.
For me, the whole not getting so obsessive anymore, is also a way to protect myself. Because sometimes I like things TOO much, to a point where just thinking about it gives me crippling anxiety and I'll have rows of panic attacks for no other reasons than that I love the thing/actor/book/movie/show so much that I actually hate it. I spent a long time hating LotR too, because I loved it so much I couldn't watch the movies without getting seriously unstable. I'm still very tentative about watching them because I turn into an emotional wreck for weeks afterwards (with daily crying/panic attacks) but it's not as bad as it has been.
WEII BELLATRIX IS A BASKET CASE! xD

I obsess, I talk about it constantly, I do fanfics and read them, I snatch at magazine articles, and I too store away random little facts that people dont really care about. And then I move on to a new obsession. Though it seems I have a merry go round of my obsessions, and I'll revisit some from time to time. Like for instance, at the moment I'm on a total OUAT trip (because the shows starting up again in a few days), but tomorrow I may go on a Robin Hood trip. Though I've never done anything extreme with my obsessions. I guess I'm just more...annoying. Granted I do have a tendency to panic at times, terrified they'll kill off my wonderful Hook and then the actor will go back to Ireland and will work on projects over there and I'll never get to see him in anything else again, and he's too hot for that and his accent is too swoon-worthy. So I search for spoilers online, so I know his character will be in upcoming episodes. Like at the moment, I'm saved from panic attacks because I know he'll be in the show up to at least episode 17........I'm a sad, strange person. So currently kicking around the idea of seeing Celtic Woman with my friend. We kinda need to decide soon, since the concert is next Friday. I didn't know about it until the beginning of this week. Tickets are affordable, seats are alright, not crazy close but we can still hear the music, which is the point. Granted I'm sure they're not horrible seats in the balcony, since the theater is a place where they hold a lot of plays and Broadway shows and what not, so how bad can they be? There's just a few factors, like the city being dangerous, getting up there in traffic after she gets off work, that sort of thing. Boy I'd love to go, what a way to kick off St. Patrick's day weekend!

Guys. You might not understand how big this is for me, but look at what I'm wearing: 1. I'm wearing shorts. I haven't worn shorts in public for about ten years. No joke. I wore them to school today, in Tokyo, which means hundreds of people saw them. And I felt fine. 2. Those tights are from H&M. Size XL. The "normal" department. Not the plus sized department (that doesn't exist here in Japan). Like, I don't know if you can understand how amazing that is, but to me it's... it's so huge. It's so huge I don't even know where to begin. I haven't been able to shop at H&M, not even their plus sized department, for several years. The normal department? Well, that was maybe ten years ago. And I wore shorts in public. That's like, oh my god. And these shorts are so much smaller than the ones I wore before. I just can't wrap my head around this. I'm still overweight, and I know that, but guys, I've lost over 130 pounds! I don't pat myself on the back enough, but I should. Because that IS awesome, and I am right to feel awesome for it. So yeah, that's all. xD

I just went jeans shopping and got a size smaller, so I understand that happy feeling! It feels great, fantastic confidence boost! My hours have been being cut down at work. Not happy about that. Everyone's hours are being cut back, for some reason. Even though it seems the "we have extra hours can you come in" phone call is a routine thing. So ok, if there's extra hours to give out, why aren't they there when you make the schedule? where do those extra hours magically come from? confusing.

Maybe they just don't want to guarantee those extra hours? But it's also weird that they decide to keep those hours under the schedule; what would happen if they called employees but everyone had made other plans by then?

Well, then they're just out of luck I reckon! They've called me and I've had plans already.
Having a lazy day where I really dont feel like going to work, and wish I could call in sick. If it wasnt for my cut hours...*sigh*

I can really sympathise at how infuriating that situation is Tink- I hate how companies claim they can't afford to give you decent hours, but want to take advantage of you at a moments notice. My old job was the same, I was contracted for a pitifully small amount of hours but they had me working 6-7 days weeks in overtime. They've invited me back this summer for the same amount of hours because "that's all they can afford" when they've just started recruiting for 20+ Hour positions. Hang in there

Sorry to hear about that Tink. Maybe things will pick up soon.
I am totally in way over my head with my novel. I have so many ideas at once. Writing them down on a peice of paper is not helping. As soon as I get them onto a page and out of my head, another takes its place. Some times I wish I could just come down with a bad cold, or something, because that always clears my head for a while.
By the way, awesome set, Lembas. I love the style of it.

Its really irritating. And he's interviewing people right now in an attempt to fill the supervisor position for my department (a job one of my managers has told me I should talk to him about, she wants me to do it), and its like ok, if you are cutting hours then why are you trying to hire in someone new? Why not just have someone who's already working at the store as the supervisor of the department? Logically, one would think an extra person hired in would mean even worse hours for those already working there. I only worked two days this week, and I'm only scheduled for two days next week. My next check is going to suck. Definitely going to need to find a second job once the weather is officially done dropping snow and ice on us.
