Happy Birthday Tink! (bit late sorry) Guys, I need your help. It's like so totally like super important. Long story short, I had to give my copies of the Twilight Saga (the books) away. I had the first three in the pretty paperback, black with red edges on the pages. Anyhoo, that was 3 years ago now and I want to read them again and buy them again. But which editions to get that will look the prettiest on my bookcases? (Yes, I am this indecisive in all aspects of my life. It's explains a lot) 1. I could buy the black red edged paperbacks like this but I know I can't get Bree Tanner like that and I don't know if Breaking Dawn is available like that either. 2. I could get the white, red edged paperbacks like this but I can't get Bree Tanner like that so would have to get the black, normal paged hardback or paperback. 3. I could just get all of them in the black hardback with normal page edged, or even just normal paperbacks. 4. Or I could get this which is the only way to get all of them matching with the white covers. Option 4 is the one I really want but the cheapest I can get it for is £21. Whereas option 2 is just over £7 for all 4 plus Bree Tanner in paperback (second-hand copies, obviously). Getting all 5 in hardbacks second-hand works out at something like 44p overall more expensive than the white paperbacks. Gods, I'm getting worse. I can't even make simple decisions like which edition of books to get without consulting as many people as possible in case I make the wrong decision. Which is stupid because I can't make the wrong choice because whatever I buy I'll still be able to read. But I want them to match, but I like the white covers the most, and I'm just useless at life.

Don't be too harsh on yourself! Picking the best and most beautiful cover for a book can be very important, especially when there are so many options to choose from! Gosh I remember how long it took me to decide which version of LotR I liked best..
Anyway, I think the second option looks great! I love that white/red combination, and it'll surely look awesome on your shelf. Does the fourth option also has that red lining, or just the white covers?

The second option is the most beautiful. If I was you I would buy it.

I think the 4th one. I'm a tad obsessive on having all the covers match, too.
I have been so nostalgic lately. Almost finished my novel, and I both do and don't want it to end at the same time.

Well after a few very busy weeks I'm rather excited about my slower week this week! Hopefully this will give me a chance to recharge! Also getting excited about the new X Men movie! Only 10 more days to wait before it opens! Woohoo! Currently considering a Wolverine banner, possibly, to 'celebrate'.

I never really got into X-Men. I only saw one movie years ago, and didn't enjoy it. I'm posting the party tomorrow, so everyone get ready for it.

Just try not to ask too much about Thorin and Marida's history, since I'm writing a fan fic about it. I've had this idea for a while, but since I didn't think there would be enough interest for a role play (due to the slow activity around here), I thought that I would post it on FanFiction instead. I was thinking about moving it to deviantart, but since Legolin doesn't have an account on that site, I thought it would be easier for her to either review or favor it if I stuck with my original plan (this way I don't have to change the title). I'm setting the story just prior to Smaug's attack on Erebor, so I really should watch AUJ again for inspiration, due to the fact that fan fics do follow the story to a point. I think the last time I saw it was when the Extended Edition came out (which was back in November), so it's been a while (I've been kind of busy with DoS, lately). I'll still be hosting a party in Erebor myself, but not until Durin's Day (whenever that is), so we'll have a break from the location, since I'm thinking of setting Marida's birthday party in Laketown. It won't be until late July (which is when my birthday is), so if anyone else wants to host another party after Erin's is finished, feel free. Do you believe I'll be turning 42 this year, which makes me one of the oldest members on this board (though I think Most Precious Gollum is older). No wonder I'm so knowledgeable.

I am a total X-geek. Love the movies! Used to read the comics as a kid, watched the cartoon on Saturday mornings, the whole nine yards I was so hoping I'd wind up being a mutant, with some crazy awesome power. I wanted Wolverine's claws, always thought those rocked. And actually,I'm such an X-geek....that I requested off work on the day the movie opens, just so I could see it opening weekend...only my work place doesn't know thats the reason I took off! And wow, lots of parties coming up! Thats exciting, can't wait! So someone from my receptionist job loaned me the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth in it, never seen that version before, but I'm liking it so far! And on a somewhat distressing note, some of the pages in my Fellowship of the Ring book are starting to fall out!!!

Just a heads up. The scene where he emerges from the lake is far from hot. A massive letdown to be honest. Me and my mother spent all day watching it, and were left extremely dissapointed. I think our reactions were a unpoliter version of "Is that it?!" Okay, working on the party now. Not sure how the starting of parties is usually done, so I'll just wing it. Edit: Posted it, here.

Haha! Well, I'm not attracted to Colin Firth to begin with, so I'm not expecting much from that scene! I got to have lunch with a friend of mine I haven't seen in a very long time, she was passing through heading back home and we met up for an afternoon catch up session. Fantastic day!

If I'm honest, the part I think best suits Colin Firth, is his part in Mamma Mia. XP I made a new set. : ) Of course, I'm still on a Thranduil kick. I decided to remake an older set, because I just hated the layout of it, to this. I can't believe I once thought those miniture boxes were cool. They look awful! I had to make the whole thing from scratch. This one is much better though. I made sure to get the wording exactly right this time. Plus play around with both lines using the same starter letter.

So I got the Frozen movie! So now when I can get some spare time, I can finally see what all the hubbub is about! Oh, and I also got the new Tinker Bell movie, 'The Pirate Fairy', as a late birthday gift from a friend. Yay! Also, good day at work today! I have a very busy week coming up, and actually the next week is going to be crazy busy as well, I'm afraid! Kind of glad I had a lot of downtime this week. Wont look good on a paycheck for one of my jobs, but sometimes you just need some time to try to recharge! Can't keep going like crazy all the time.

That's so cool, Tink! I've never seen Frozen. I wanted to at first, but too many of my friends saw it in the cinema, then ruined it for me. Also, I've been thinking about my family tree me. Or more specifically, Erin - since it isn't my real name. I was inspired by Marida's idea of making a back story. To explain how I could have married Faramir, but was still able to marry someone like Thranduil, who wouldn't marry a lowly human. I'm thinking about making my family tree me, half elven. Have a elvish name, to be used by ordinary nonspouse elves, not used by other members of the family tree. I'm going to use Lónannûniel for now, because that's what the main A-U site has for 'Erin' on the girls names list.

That moment when you wake up from an awesome dream and for a moment forget where you are and instantly think "*BAD WORD*, where's my sword, Thorin and Bilbo needs reinforcements!" Then you remember that you're an idiot and turn off your alarm which just happens to be "I See Fire" from The Hobbit....

I'm thinking about posting another party shortly after the current one finishes. Maybe a few days afterwards. I won't say too much about it, because it has a surprise twist. It won't just be a meet and greet, like normal parties.
Trust me, it will be fun. At least, I hope so.
