Well how was the move Bella? Hope it went well! So my dog was barking and growling at a fly today, that was sitting on the lid of our trashcan. I'm not kidding. Literally growling and doing his "there's something weird here!" bark. I was cleaning up his area at the time, and had paused to watch in amazement, and I told him "you keep an eye on that fly, Benji! you watch it!"....I cleaned up his entire area (and he's got a decent sized one at that) while he sat on the porch steps and stared at that trash can, watching for the fly. Again, I'm not kidding. (as a little background info, my dog hates flying insects. dont ask me why, but he runs around as though he's being shot at when one buzzes by him) My brave Benjamin, protecting me from evil horseflies. *sigh* crazy little beagle. you know, i've been asked the 'what superpower would you want' question, and I think the answer would have to be the ability to keep my animals young and with me forever, because they bring me so much enjoyment!

It was LONG. It took forever to travel. Like 16 hours in total and with two heavy bags plus my laptop bag. But at the end of the day it didn't go wrong anywhere, it was smooth, but it was just so long. Add that to only having slept one hour and then after trying to go to bed in OUR apartment the first time its both of our home, I have severe night terrors and only slept a few hours with intense panic until I finally gave up on sleep at 5.30. So I haven't unpacked as much as I'd have wanted and we haven't been able to proper celebrate.

I've realized I'm a book buying addict, and I get an emotional high after receiving a book in the mail, or walking out of a bookstore with a new book. But I can't say I really want treatment for my addiction!

Hey everyone. I thought I'd stop by, and see how everyone is doing. I've been really busy lately, with taking care of my cat. She has for the most part recovered from that whole ordeal. Inbetween her care, and helping my mum care for the rest of our cats, I've been working on my novel. I think I've really found a good point, where it will lock into the final chapter, that I have written. Which is good news for me, but also keeps me very busy.

Did she have any medications from a veterinarian or did she just spend some time resting comfortably at home? And yay for novel work! Wonderful when things fall into place on something you've worked so hard on.

Tinker Bell wrote: Glad to hear your cat is doing better! Did she have any medications from a veterinarian or did she just spend some time resting comfortably at home? When we took her to the vet, literally with in the hour of her coming back, they said there was nothing wrong with her. But since then, they have been proved wrong. She has a lump on her side, from where the dog had her in its mouth. Her tail is fractured a little, probably from where it ripped her down off the fence. Her fur was coarse, and she was very skinny, from lack of food. She isn't streetwise, so she didn't know how to hunt. But with regular food, she has put on a little weight, and her fur has softened. We are glad she was spayed, so she doesn't have a belly full of kittens. For her, and the horror thought of her having babies. With her madamy spiteful attitude, one Aya is more than enough. We have had to make sure she stays inside, for her own safety. We wouldn't risk it happening again. But if it did, I doubt she would survive dissappearing for another 3 weeks and 3 days. Tinker Bell wrote: And yay for novel work! Wonderful when things fall into place on something you've worked so hard on. Totally. I am thrilled, because I have been working on this novel for 2 years as of december. I've started from scratch a crazy amount of times. I'm just glad that I have a draft that fits, and feels right for the story that has to be told. I do think that this direction that I've gone in will really lock in with the ending, that I already have written. I can't go into any detail about the plot, or the characters, because I have litterally been keeping it under lock and USB key. No one has read it but me.

I can't believe the vet didn't find anything wrong with her the first time!!! Literially, I'm shocked. I mean, I just went to school for a vet tech, but I automatically think a thorough exam, checking for any sort of puncture wounds or bone issues or even muscle trauma, fluids are a definite thing, all that kind of stuff. But its good that she's recovering, and I'm sure she's rather comfortable inside compared to her adventures outside!
Also I dont blame you for keeping your story under lock and key, rather be safe than sorry and have it stolen somehow. I only let a select few people read anything I write, just in case.

Hiya all, I haven't really been on lately. There is literally an overload of homework I have to do at my Secondary School (or high school, as others call it). I mean, what's the point, I don't get a second to myself, and a lot of the stuff I need to do my homework requires a printer; I don't have one! Yes, they do have printers at school but I've used up all my printer points for this month! Ugh, homework'll be the bane of my, I know it... Anyway, on a more positive note, I only have two more pieces left, they aren't due in for weeks so I can FINALLY get a moment to myself! Hopefully I can come on A-U a bit more over this weekend too.

I remember homework...oddly enough I enjoyed it, for the most part, though when everyone piles it on it can be quite stressful! And is there any way to get more printer time, since you still have projects to do?

I now officially live in England with my girlfriend and her son. I AM AN ADULT! And we're already getting into a really good dinner routine with her son and you can tell he's happier with steadier routines.

That's so good to hear, I'm happy for you Bella! And even better that her son is also reacting positively to it

Yeah he's only 3,5 so he doesn't fully understand yet what's happened, but today was the first day he agreed that I was living here after he got to use a snoopy glass that I'd brought from home. xD
