I wouldn't say they're my favorite band either (but they're certainly climbing their way up on my list, hehe), that would be DragonForce and second Nightwish.

Aren't they awesome?
I don't think I can say enough good things about Korpiklaani. There's something in there music that just lifts my spirits. Gives me goosebumps.
Oh..and Jonne (the singer) is the kind of Viking man-meat I love.

same here, I don't care whatever language it's sung in, the melody itself has always been the most important element for me in a song.
I'm a huge fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and have been ever since I was only 4 years old (lol I know it's mostly popular style music, but I can't help but love it) and so I've been exposed to songs in different languages basically since childhood.
