I was just browsing along in the local bookstore when I saw the famed Bored of the Rings and i picked it up and read some parts and thought it was funny, then in some parts stupid. Plus some of the paroded names I heard before such as Spam.

Some parts are fun and others not even stupid justplain disrispectful.
Like naming Bilbo-Dildo, and Sam-Spam...poor samey-wamey.
But i thought it was hilarious..when at the doors of Moria Gandalf is thinking and somebady goes "GANDALF! The doorknob!" well it wasn't Gnadalf but i can't remember his paroded name.

I've never read it, I'd kinda like to, though. I think my mom's read it. She mentioned Frito and Spam. lol

It's a bit stupid, but it's funny too.

I read a page or two when I was 12, and while I admit that some parts are slightly humorous (the 3 rings poem for example), my overall impression is IT'S STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds funny but nope I ain`t read it I probs will sounds fun. I heard some people got really insulted with it meh take it with a pinch of salt? or sugar whichever its just a laugh not meant to insult there are so many books like Matwix which is funnyish not great but I didn`t read much LOL

I'm sorry...but my Mom wouldn't even let me read it because of the language and some of the content in there. I was able to take a look at one of the pages, and I vowed I would never read it. Sorry, but that isn't my idea of good humor.
