Just went and watched the TV spots Personally, I think Saphira sounds too old, but I guess she was inside that egg for a long time. Not enough shots of Arya! I may be disgusted at her outfit, but she's still my favorite! And I really like baby Saphira, it's too bad how fast she grows.

I spent all hour today in Music Tech class listening/watching the new TV spots. New scenes! I like them! And I think Saphira's voice is good for the part. I didn't want it to sound really clear, because then people would be looking around going "Huh? Who's talking?" The breathiness makes it seem a bit more 'in his head'.

Murtagh has Zar'roc now? "Smiling represses the gag reflex" -Some creepy kid on the bus said it... strangely appropriate now. *Eye twitches*
It's going to be like a train wreck, terrible, yet you can't stop watching...

The posters are confusing me - Eragon's sword is red, but the stone is blue? I really like the way Brom and Arya look, even if they made her blonde (actually, I kind of like the blonde, it makes her seem less like Arwen)

I want to go see it... on opening day, if I can swing it. Even if it's totally ruined, I still want to see it... we'll have to see.

^That's why studios can afford to mess up films. No matter how bad it is, if it has the name of something we love on it, we'll see it.

PG?
*smile breaks* *sobs*
No! They can't do this! What are they trying to do, turn it into a little kid's movie? Aaaaaaahhhh!
Not that I'm advocating PG-13 material necessarily... but I'm not advocating bloodless, utterly non violent battles either.

Oh wow... I am seriously dissapointed. How can they do this to us?! Although, i've had a feeling all along that they would pass this off as a childrens story...

I just watched the preview for Eragon, and it does look quite amazing.. and dramatic and violent and all that jazz... Actually, it made me want to see the movie.. which I hadn't planned to do... but the preview is quite LotR-ish... which I bet they did purposely
*ducks for all the rotten tomatoes and buuh's from dedicated Eragon-fans*
I have never read Eragon and I don't know the story.... but am I mistaken if I say he's quite popular on this forum? *coughcough*

Eragon in general is popular, but Eragon the character isn't near as popular as Murtagh...
I've been ranting to my whole family about Eragon's PG rating... I think they're getting annoyed, but not half as annoyed as I am...

But Eragon is the protagonist, the hero, the One, aye?
Why would Murtagh (which I don't know who is by the way) be more popular?
