I love that painting of Varda by JanÃn. But my favourite Vala painting is the one of Elbereth by Anastasia I-Morn-Gwathren. It's so beautiful. Just how I pictured Elbereth

The first banner was made by Gilraen Ringeril, the second one was made by ViviElessar and the pic that says Galadriel on it in my avatar was made by Beriadanwen and the second pic I found on the internet.

What he's done with these paintings is beautiful. I never really thought of the Valar in human-like forms, but more like the elements (Manwe as wind, Ulmo as a wave, Yavanna as a tree), but they look just like they're supposed to, except I thought that Manwe would look stronger. And I agree with most of you that Yavanna should have more clothing.
Eowynshieldmaiden, those pictures that you showed are amazing. Luthien looks awesome!

Yeah same here, but the eyes werent white they were a deep blue thats how I imagned her.
