Let's see...
Frodo falls......[thinks]
FOTR:
1. When he was getting Bilbo to duck because of the Dragon firework at the birthday party.
2. Hobbits fall down the hillside. "I think I've broken something." - "Well that was close."
3. Frodo falls when he jumps onto the raft on the Brandywine River.
4. He [somehow] falls when he puts on the Ring in the Prancing Pony.
5. He falls at Weathertop from the Nazgul.
6. He falls in the Mines of Moria because of the Cave Troll.
7. Frodo falls after seeing the Mirror of Galadriel.
8. He falls again when Boromir encountered him.

My word! One would hope he got a bonus for all of that strenuous physicality!
Perhaps that is why his eyes are so wide? He's so often in a state of amazement at falling down..

Lol Kitoky! And yes, this was actually one of the oldest things I noticed about LOTR when it was yet new in my life. I just remember sitting there and counting as Frodo tripped again...and again...and again...>shakes head< You are most definately right, he does fall a lot.
And now, if anyone's up for a new challenge...how 'bout trying to count how many times Frodo's NAME is spoken in FOTR?! Mwahaha!

Challenge? Did I hear someone say CHALLENGE? After [not so] long deliberation with... ahh, myself... I have come up with an answer to this riddle, which I fully expect to be debated and trivialised.
"Frodo" [and similar variations, eg. Frodo's] is mentioned 102 times in the theatrical version of FotR.
Top that, friends.
