Anyway, tennis aint too bad but cricket is rubbish lol. hehehe

*Glares* Cricket is not rubbish. Our national team is just better at winning televised dance competeions than cricket matches :P

And EBM said something about rugby being a mostly male sport. I thought I'd say that a former student of my school got selected for the England Womens' under19's England squad recently...

Yes maybe, but since when do they get televised on the BBC? I only sadid hat because Womens rugby, unfortunately seems to be unrecognised by the majority of the country. And yes, the national team is rubbish for cricket( but the sport is too :-P)

The sport definately isn't rubbish. Best game there is, and I've been arguing that for years. Many people are still under the dellusion that football is better, for some insane reason...

Yes, Cricket is the worlds greatest sport...........
For slackers who want tea breaks lol :-P. Rugby is better than footy tho Illl agree with that

And I like tea breaks. Sometimes it is among the best part of the days play :P but most of the time it is standing the middle of a field in the hot sunshine for hours. After that, i can tell that we deserve our teabreaks!!! :P

I played football (soccer) for a while in a local club when I was about 12.
But I stopped after a while, mainly because I didn't like going up early on weekends. :P

Other sports I like doing myself is floorball and tennis, but I'm not doing those that much right.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floorball

It's a stick and ball based sport, kind of like hockey.

It was created here in Sweden and hasn't really got popular in UK and US I guess :P

It's really fun and you really only need a stick and a ball to play it. :-D

OK then how about talking movies?

Anyone seen Apocalypto?

Watched it with my brother last week and I can safely say that Mel Gibson certainly knows how to make great movies.
Thought the main character Jaguar Paw was a cool guy, who really fitted into the good guy role.

I'll post more about the topic tomorrow, will go see Jarhead now on DVD. :bye2:

Oh, no. I haven't seen that. To be quite honest, I'm not a fan of Mel Gibson. I only liked him in Braveheart and the Patriot.

Jarhead was an Ok movie, could have been better.

Whats you guys favourite War movies?

My top list would probably be:
1.Band of Brothers (Mini-series) [The story about Easy Company]
2.Brotherhood of War [The story about two brothers in the Korean War]
3.Saving Private Ryan [World War II story about a unit sent out to find Private Ryan and bring him home to the U.S.]
4.Full Metal Jacket [Stanley Kubricks story about the war in Vietnam]

War movies? What do you consider as war movies? Because some might be considered as one but others not.

If you see them on this list:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_war_films

Then they are War films/movies.

But my own list is only about 20th century war movies.

Feel free to make one with any war or do my way whatever suits you best. :-D

PS. Thats a very short list I made, will make a better one later.

Oh in that case, my list would be:
(Not in any particular order)
Master and Commander
Saving Private Ryan
Kingdom of Heaven

That's all I can think of that were really really good.
