X-Men 3- The Last Stand
This is the first time i've seen this, and i'll admit I was a bit disappointed. I really enjoyed the first two, they were great! but this one was too weird... I didn't like that whole Phoenix thing. At least Wolverine got to kiss her lol. But anyways... like everyone died, which is dumb. Haha I better stop writing now... I am sooo tired and need some caffeine!

A Series of Unfortunate Events
It is a sad testament to how completely deranged and utterly miserable I was yesterday that I actually sunk low enough to watch this movie. I couldn't decide what I wanted to watch, saw it lying in the drawer of movies and thought, "What they hey. I've never seen it, and I don't feel like watching any of these other ones." So I watched it. Bad, bad choice. I think there was maybe one funny part in the entire thing. The acting = terrible. The book consistency = nonexistant. Jim Carrey as the bad guy = annoying. NO. If someone asks you to watch it, I would run as fast as you can in the other direction. But it may prove useful if you ever want to use it for a torture device.

Aww I LOVED "A Series of Unfortunate Events"! I haven't read the books so I can't compare but I thought it was a lovely, quirky film. It felt very Burton-like and I LOVE Tim Burton!

Oh, the books were way better. They were amazing.
Anyway, The Last Castle. I love that movie.

*cough* This is going to sound very fangirl-y, but I only actually wanted to see ASOUE for Liam Aiken...but I did read up to #11 before I saw it. And now they're some of my favorite books, and I still like the movie.

I read the books up until... I don't know. A late number, but then I stopped because I got tired of waiting and completely lost interest. The dark feel of it was... ok, but not a match for a Tim Burton film if you ask me. I love Tim Burton too. And I don't know who Liam Aiken is, but I found the lack of attractive guiys in the movie disappointing.

^I liked it too! Actually, I was just thinking about that movie the other day, lol. It was very different from the books, but in a good way. Defiantly not my favorite movie (I don't think i'd ever watch it again), but it was entertaining.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?
I love this movie! There's such great music in it and it's absolutely hilarious! The Sirens... The "turned into a frog" The preacher man...
The opening scene was great, too. I love those men singing. It really set a good feel to the movie.
Gah, I just love it. Let's leave it at that.

One Night With the King. John Rhys-Davies was great, and so was the girl (her name I can't remember, unfortunately). Made me want to go back and reread the Biblical account.
And then I just finished watching a 10 minute youtube video chronicling the story of Will and Elizabeth, from POTC. Obsessed and proud!
