I watched the other horror movie that was rented earlier. I watched The Descent. If you are going to see one of the newer horror movies, this is the one to watch. The special effects and the acting were both pretty good, the plotline makes enough sense (considering that it is a horror film), the movie is actualy scarey, it has a decent pace to it, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. So if you are a horror film fan, this is a must see.

Memento. Two words: Wicked and insane. Oh wait, that was three. Did I just write two words? I have this condition.....
Anyways, amazing movie. The casting was great and the plot was thrill taking. Christopher Nolan is probably one of the best directors in the world. (I also saw another one of his movies last week, Insomnia. That one was good, too)

Apocalypto... of how ever you spell it. Was all right... not exactly an "edge of your seat" movie.
The Queen
watched some of it yesterday, then there was a power out thing, so I watched the rest today.

The Bourne Ultimatum... some friends and I came back from seeing it in the theater not long ago... and I thought it was pretty good (considering I'm not a big Bourne fan and I hardly remember seeing the first two). Definitely something I don't regret seeing!

Oh yeah it was^
Last night, I saw Schindler's List. It was the one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes were excellent in their roles. And it was so sad! I cried at least eight times in the movie. I really liked how they made it black and white with only little bits of colour. Really really wonderful movie.

The Seventh Veil - OMG, how could this 1940's British film have escaped my grasp for so many years!? I loved, loved, loved, loved it! What set itself up as thriller really turned out to be a love story, and the person who was set up as the villain was in fact the hero! And it has teh great James Mason in it as well! Brilliant! This is definitely being added to my film collection.
The Village - I can't really sing the praises of this film enough. Completely panned by critics, this poor film needs to be watched by more people than just me and 6 others. Brilliant storytelling, fantastic cast with fantastic performances, there is no reason this film shouldn't be given the chance of the praise it deserves. And Joaquin Phoenix has even been thrown in. *dies*
