Another great question. I would tell him to put all the Aragorn and Arwen scenes onto the EE dvd. I think some people got ripped off.

I agree- great question. I would have extended a lot of the AA scenes. I understand why he couldn't add more to the normal version- three hours was more than enough for those crazy non-obsessive people - but I would have had a lot more scenes in the extended edition.

Hm...I would've liked to see one PJ talked about on his commentary, that apparently shows Aragorn and Arwen "frolicking in the fields together". (I think you posted a really cute pic a while back that's supposedly from that scene, Rose.) I'm just happy that there is more stuff on the EEs, especially the scene where Aragorn tries to give the Evenstar back, because not only are they speaking Elvish in that scene - *fangirl squeal* - it really is a great scene and I'm glad to see the full of it. (Though really, I would've liked him to put in more Faramir/Eowyn stuff too, seeing as they got a whole chapter in the book...BUT this isn't the F/E club so I'll stop now. )

@Ashwise: I really like that idea. That would be really cool, because PJ wouldn't bother the normal people, but would make the A/A fans very happy.

@Arwen: Welcome back, dear!:hug: No problems. And I agree with you on the EE's.

@Ánië: Yep, I agree. It would have been perfect if PJ had included that scene. He could have included it somewhere in the TTT dream scenes. I guess many people would have been interested in how the two have met.

@Aerlinniel: Yes, I agree with you. The scene was hinted at in TTT, but I if they had included it completely, it would have completed the Tale of Arwen & Aragorn.


I would have really like it if they had included the whole Tale of Arwen & Aragorn in the movies or at least in the EE's. The beginning (their first meeting etc) could have been included in the TTT dream sequences as a flashback while Aragorn is dreaming in my opinion.
I quite like Anie's and Aerlinniel's idea to include Arwen's death scene after the credits. Maybe they could have told the rest of their tale (like Aragorn's death which is described in a very touching manner in the books as well). That would have completed the whole story in a way.

We should ask Liv and Viggo if they would do our LotR version again.
