Would fashion exist in M.e? :P
Strange idea, Arwen buying the newest lothlorien fashion... bwahahah

I guess I normally get the basics too... nice jeans and then spend most of my money on shirts I can mix and match and layer... almost anything in style... and I also like buying jewelry, accessories and make-up. :P yes, so I guess I can relate.... wow, I couldn't imagine spending that much a month! they're lucky they have the money to do that.... :-D

lol interesting thought...
haha, that would be... An odd sight. :P

I see her as a sort of It-Girl, the kind you want to hate because she's so beautiful and perfect, but you can't hate her because she's so nice. And possibly a cheerleader, I think a while back in this thread we were saying something about Arwen in a cheerleading uniform.

How would Arwen be if she would have been born in our time? As a human? What kind of girl would she have been?

I can see the logic there… hmmm.... well, I don't mind spending some of my free time working for money (actually it gives me a sense of pride when I've done a job well and I get the money for it) ... it pays off in the end when you get to go to the mall with all your well-earned money and spend it :P... but mostly I just like to have some extra money in my purse for when I want it. :-D

I agree with Anie... I could so see Arwen as that kind of girl. :) the "perfect", everyone-loves-her kind of girl... but never as a stuck-up mean girl.

That would be true indeed. And I guess she wouldn't be the only one with her room covered in posters.

Good question. :) I agree with Ánië that she would somehow be a "perfect" girl, who looks really beautiful, is smart and does everything right. She could be some kind of famous celebrity, but not someone like Paris Hilton who rushes from one scandal to the next. I could see her as a more serious person. Perhaps she could also be some kind of princess or queen today, but a very modern and popular one. :)

^I know! Arwen's hair is sooo long and pretty and wavy... I just love it! :P

so now that we've talked about what kind of girl Arwen would be if she lived right now what kind of guy in school do you think Aragorn would be? :teehee:

Hm...I'd say jock, but he's too much of a loner early on in his life. Maybe an emo kid? :P Sorry, um, seriously, I dunno. Probably he'd be one of those "weird" kids who sit in the back row and are invisible, so when you ask the average student they say "Who's that?" But he'd be smart too - clever and observant, and get good grades but not want to be known for them. AHA! I got it, he'd be an artist of some kind! Poet, maybe, and he'd do fencing or something on the side. And of course he'd have a massive crush on It-Girl Arwen, who would eventually reciprocate it. :D

...I seriously did NOT mean to write all that. I rambled a bit. :P

I know that this club has been here for a long time and it's popular and that you already have lots of members but could I still join? I mean I love Arwen and Aragorn (together and separately) and I thought that this would be a great club to join^^

If Arwen would have been born in our time, she would be a prep...or a hippie. Elves are a kinda hippish.

Hmmm, i don't know about that.... she's always so sad in the movie, i can see her happy. But when i ever think about her, that scene in either the two towers or in the return of the king, where she has that vision aragorn and her son!
