well, I don't have much to add to what Meldawen said concerning the matter. she pretty much summed up how I think Will and Elizabeth would be in today's world. Will would be his quiet and shy self but not really be able to be that way (if you get what I mean ) and I could totally see Elizabeth as a rebel type.

(I think I've read that too.... it's a sad concept though, isn't it? )

so what's you're all-time favorite Willabeth scene OTHER than their wedding in AWE?
I think mine would have to be their "wedding" at the beginning of DMC... and then the jail scene where Will visits her before he goes looking for Jack.
Although that scene in AWE where Will tries to talk to her (the "...how can I trust you?" "you can't" one) below deck was nice and heart wrenching.

Let's see...I do love "how can I trust you?", but I think my favorite would have to be the one in the beginning of CotBP when we first see their older selves. Because Will is adorable there. And Lizzie's so obviously flirting with him that it makes me laugh. Or else maybe the end of CotBP because it's the first kiss scene.

really? aye, that is a sweet scene. although I find myself sometimes wanting to hit Will to wake him up and realize that Elizabeth likes him... oh, well at least he "wakes up" in the end. that "first kiss" scene is sweet too! "No, he's a pirate." awwwww!



isn't it so sad and it makes you want to cry for them... and also just tell them that they need each other and to make up and "Just kiss"! lol



I'm so sorry to hear that! Have you at least seen DMC and CotBP? (I think I'd die if I couldn't watch AWE! (although one of my friends can't watch LotR... and that's a real shock to me too ))

CotBP is Curse of the Black Pearl, and DMC is Dead Man's Chest That's so sad you can't are them! Would your parents rather you didn't, or what?

I honestly can't decide whether I like bittersweet!W/E or sweet!W/E. I think my favorite would have to be during the battle when Will gets stabbed, or when they're sailing back from the Locker and Elizabeth sees her father. Will is so sweet there...*sniffle*

^Bittersweet W&E!!! that's me all the way! (don't get me wrong I love some sweet stuff (like that sweet scene at the end of the credits where Will comes back to Lizzie and Will III) but for some reason I've always been more attracted to tragedy and bittersweet ) Oh, both of those are such sad scenes! I love 'em! nice choices!

(but Melda is right... they're the titles of the first two movies ) Oh, I am so sorry you haven't watched those either! poor, Allonde! (but I can sympathize with you... my parents don't want me watching Harry Potter... not that I mind because that's never really caught my interest anyway *shrugs* (no offence to people who like it though))

Yeah, but he's got those big brown puppy-dog eyes that look so adorable you know you wouldn't hit him. That scene is like the quintessential movie first kiss scene, isn't it? It's so freaking romantic.


I think I like sweet!W/E slightly better because I need something happy. Though bittersweet!W/E is amazing as well, especially throughout AWE.
I love that scene, even though I hate it, if that makes any sense. Elizabeth is so lucky to have Will, isn't she?
