Horribly guilty of the second one. I started singing the second drinking song and this guy said what the BLEEP are you singing? I took of my flip flops and chased him down and all he was saying is HEEEEELLLLLLP crazy lady crazy lady!

...say "Namarie" instead of "goodbye" to the point that all of your friends now automatically know to say it

...freak out when your friend spells/pronounces "namarie" wrong and begin yelling at them and lecturing them on the grammatical rules of elvish diphthongs. (oh so guilty)

...have to explain the Nazgul to a room full of adults at your parents' party because the topic of LOTR movies came up and somebody kept calling them "the black hooded guys" (that happened last night *rolls eyes*)

...call your brothers "fell beasts" whenever you get mad at them.

...have told someone to "keep their forked tongue behind their teeth"

...can call up a LOTR quote on demand for any situation (the other day my friend was asking me for something concerning sleep and i gave her like three off the top of my head)

...have all LOTR sites on your favorites list

...draw a hobbitish charicature of your friend just because they have curly brown hair and blue eyes

...have planned out "crebain drills" to do with your friends in a class, which involves someone randomly shouting "Crebain from Dunland!" and all involved hiding under desks (only do this if your teacher is in a very good mood that day, and preferably a fellow ringer)

Start tearing up with happines when you are disscusing LoTR with a friend, esspecially if I'm talking about Aragorn. (Very, extremely guilty)

Have dreams about it in which the music is playing. (guilty)

Whenever you write a story, you can't help but have the story take place in Middle Earth, or strongely base the characters of characters from LotR. (again, guilty)

Learn the tengwar, in sindarin mode. And when people ask you if you're wrighting in elvish, yuo scream, No, this is Tengwar, not elvish! Ad you start ranting on and on. (Sorta guilty. I don't really rant that much, cause i'm in school whenever some one questions)

You force your friends to right in tengwar, sindarin mode (guilty)

ha, I found this one on another sight, and I find if funny- You bite your finger off in school, just to see what it feels like. (.....not guilty)

Okay, probably most of what I am going to say here has been said a million times on this thread, but I simply do not have time nor energy to read all nine pages of comments and take notes on their content.

You know you are obsessed when...
-You have created a name for yourself in elvish

-You have created several elvish names for various reasons

-You are in the process of writing your own language because you were inspired by Tolkien.

-You have created an alphabet for said langauge, loosely based off of Tengwar.

-You have drawn one or more maps of middle-earth.

-You have discovered the online feature on your Extended Edition DVD's that allows you to make stationary, bookmarks, and a tablet, and have made a calendar for your locker at school with it. And a few bookmarks...

-You are more likely to quote Tolkien than a TV show or movie.

-You have watched non LOTR movies with LOTR actors in them, or actors that have acted with an LOTR actor just because of the vague connection. (Example: You watched THE SECRET WINDOW simply because Johnny Depp acted with Orlando Bloom. That was my only reason! )

-You know just enough elvish to freak out your friends and acquaintences.

-Upon reading a description of Anglo-Saxons you declare, "They are just like Numenoreans!!!"

-In most all ancient British liturature you see where Tolkien got his ideas. Rather, where the ancient British got their ideas. (MIDDLE-EARTH EXISTS! HA!)

-You have created theories connecting this world to Middle-earth and/or Narnia. 8)

-You not only know who acted in the LOTR movies, you know their birthday's and the birthday's of all the characters!

The first thing you think at in the morning is: how late am I free from school? How much homework do I have? How long can I watch LOTR today???
