Wild Hogs - we watched it last night (second time I've seen it)... and it is a cute movie.
also my mom and I have been watching the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice.... I've finally gotten around to it! I like the actors in it, but I like most of the ones in the 2005 version better.

Saw three movies today:
Släpp Fångarne Loss Det Är Vår! (Release the Prisoners, It's Spring!). A HILARIOUS old Swedish '70s classic. Genius comedy, outstanding musical numbers and just excellent. This has been a childhood favorite of mine
Picassos Äventyr (The Adventures of Picasso). Again another HILARIOUS old Swedish '70s classic made by the same people as the movie above. It's a funny look at the life of Pablo Picasso but all in a very satirical way. The film contains 10 languages: Swedish, English, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, Russian, French, German, Norwegian and Latin but apart from the narration in Swedish, most of the dialogue in the various languages mean either something completely different or nothing at all, which makes it all very funny. The military rank of Don José (Picasso's father) during his Nazi period is "Hauptbahnhof" which is German for central station. When he salutes, instead of "Heil Hitler" he yells "Halvliter" which is Swedish for half a liter. The lyrics for a Finnish song, quite central to the story and often featured, is actually a recipe (in Finnish) for a pastry of fish and bacon. Ahh it's such a great film!
Se7en with the deliciously hot Brad Pitt and the excellent Morgan Freeman. I've seen this film several times now, this was the second time since I bought the DVD. The digital restoration (and retouching) of picture and audio is outstanding!

I just saw 'El Laberinto del Fauno' after seeing it on the Favorites Movies list of one of my Facebook friends - what a great movie! Plus the soundtrack was excellent.

The first 30 minutes of Transformers during a class party - hmm. It's intriguing, I'll admit that. (I was sort of annoyed that Hugo's character didn't talk during that time though. )

Just watched Ronja Rövardotter (the extended version) for the gazillionth time. It's been one of my all-time favorite films since I was a child. Astrid Lindgren at her best

Pride and Prejudice (2005) yet again! I just love that movie. And I cried in the end. Again.

Unbreakable
Very good, a film by M. Night Shamaylan that I hadn't seen before. Better than The Village, or Lady in the Water. I really enjoyed it and recommend it!

Yours, Mine, & Ours - I can't help it, I'm easily amused.
Finding Neverland - Oh my goodness, I can't believe I'd never watched this before! It's amazing!!!

me and my sister have been having a bit of a movie marathon, so in the past few days we've watched...
the phantom of the opera. seen it a million times, and it still never fails to take my breath away. emmy rossum has an incredibly beautiful voice, although she isn't emotive enough, but it's all about the men really - gerard butler and patrick wilson are just amazing. every time they sing i get shivers down my spine.
hot fuzz. absolutely hilarious. i was in fits of laughter the whole way through. the best thing is, i shop at somerfield (the supermarket in the film), so i'm going to be expecting a major shoot-out everytime i have to go in there now. hahaha.
house of flying daggers. possibly the most beautiful film i've ever seen - the colours and the cinematography are absolutely stunning. the fight and dance sequences are fantastic too - zhang ziyi is so graceful, she's a joy to watch.
little miss sunshine. i really loved this film - the balance between tragedy and comedy was perfectly pitched, and the performances were all fantastic.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age I thought it was very good, if a bit over-dramatic in places. Cate Blanchett was wonderful!

Hero- I watched it for a school assignment (foreign film paper), and I didn't really like it. The cinematography was simply stunning, but I didn't really get the whole plot and was very confused the whole time
The Village- Another school assignment. I've already seen it, but I watched it again to refresh my memory. Such a good film!
